On May 4th, Unified Beauty presented the Wigs and Wine event in Fairbanks, Alaska.

15 salons from around the state came together to create the interactive event, which raised $40,000 to be used to fund salon participation in the Wigs & Wishes program in Alaska. Wigs & Wishes is dedicated to providing wigs and granting wishes to individuals battling cancer.

The $40,000 represents 135% more than the event raised in 2018.

"Out goal is to grow the Wigs & Wishes program in Alaska and offer wigs to people all over the state," said Scott Allison, owner of S Salon and organizer of this year's Wigs & Wine event.

The activities kicked-off with two days of education hosted by S Salon. During the evening event, guests admired the work created by local hair artists as they watched them create stage ready looks, capturing and sharing photos on social media. Each guest departed the event with a swag bag featuring products used to create the looks throughout the evening. Education continued into the next day with a Breakfast & Business session.
