As a participant in the Color Zoom Challenge, you are already a winner:You took the challenge. You challenged yourself with the interpretation in the REMIX Collection and finally brought your personal feats of creativity to life.
You also compete with other stylists in your category and in yourcountry – your time for fame and recognition on a national level. Each country will take then announce 3 National Winners in eachcategory: Gold, Silver and Bronze. All the National Gold Award Winners automatically qualify for thefinal. Members of the national and the international juries consist of independent hairdressers, trade press, journalists and fashion experts from the hair and beauty industry. Here’s what they expect from you. Be aware of these judging criteria and maximize YOUR SCORE.
Show your creativity and create your own REMIXstyle without copying the collection. Be familiar with the current REMIX Collection, know the fashion trend background and interpret it in YOUR own style. A style that represents the underlying trend AND showcases your personality. Be creative, be original and put your signature on the trend.
Each Color Zoom Collection comes with a Color, Cut and Styling concept which is related to the fashion trend. Use the techniques in an innovative and individual way. Your perfect technical execution is a look with optimally balanced color, cut and styling.
You’ve interpreted the trend and used the collection concept. Now it’s all about the total look – the overall appearance of hair, make up and fashion, as well as the professionalism and aesthetics of the model and photography.
1Color creations must be created with Goldwell products only, e.g. Topchic, Colorance, Nectaya, @PurePigments and/or Elumen.In all categories, hair can be lightened and bleached with Goldwell products, e.g. Topchic HiBlondes Control, SilkLift and Oxycur Platin. 2The hairstyle and color must be in focus and easy to identify on the photo. 3No extensions, hairpieces or wigs are allowed.4No full body pictures, show maximum up to chest.5No black or white photos. No Polaroids. 6You will be judged on your photographic entry. 7If you want to retouch your photo, please consider the following: Retouching minor skin or hair imperfections is certainly standard practice and allowed.Extreme retouching work to skin or hair will be taken into account by the judges and your score will reflect this. Don’t forget that your live result must lookthe same as your entry photo. Excessively photoshopped pictures are very difficult to recreate in a live setting. You will be scored accordingly. 8More than 1 employee per salon can enter, but only 1 technique/1 photo, entry per person is permitted. 9Male or female models, minimum age: 18. 10At the international live contest you will have to color, cut and style a model to recreate the look on your entry photograph.
We know your hairstyle will be great! But the jury will judge your work only by the entry material. So make sure you know the participation form.
1Maximum1 beauty photo in JPG or PNG file format conforming to international press standards (A4 = 210 x 297 mm) and a digital image on CD or USB stick with 300 dpi resolution – not bigger than 10MB max. No Polaroids. 2Send your completed, legible and signed entry form with the following information back to us: Category you are participating in. Base shade level of your model. Detailed description of your color technique, the placement of the color and the Goldwell products used.
